Shinning Through Greyscales

This is the series of my personal projects that I have recently started with the desire to play around and experience different colors with Black and white images. I was trying to find an easier way to explain and help others understand how the layers work when the layers are black on the Adobe Photoshop program to someone. I described it as “crayon etching art.” this way of describing it stuck with me, so I have been thinking about how I can do this in photography with my images.

As a process, I edit each image the way I would usually edit any fashion or commercial photography image, focusing on many details in the image. Once I am done with all the usual editing, I convert the image into B&W and then remove some of the areas from the greyscale image so that the colored part shows up at the top.
